The Cavs are just 4-14 in their first season since LeBron James left again.

Utah Jazz fans have been somewhat disgruntled to start out the season due to the team's lackluster play and the seeming failure of the plan to rely on continuity to spur the squad on to new heights.

After warming up twice on the Barclays Center floor in preparation for Wednesday's contest, Burks learned he was heading to the Cleveland Cavaliers with two future second-round picks and Kyle Korver.

Jazz rookie guard Grayson Allen says he was surprised to learn of the trade that will send Alec Burks to the Cavaliers.

Besides for the fiscal advantage of no longer paying Korver, the Cavs have picked up some much-needed draft capital with the two second round picks. Tristan Thompson for one, noted the respect the organization showed Korver by sending him back to a familiar spot, just like the Cavs did for Dwyane Wade last season by shipping him back to South Beach. Korver was traded to the Jazz during the 07-08 season and played for the J-notes till the end of the 2010 season.

Information from ESPN's Bobby Marks was used in this report. At 10-12, the Jazz have been a disappointment so far. "They're missing shots that they normally make so I think that's something we can definitely improve on". Korver's only averaging 6.8 points per game, but he's still shooting.463 from the outside and is one of the greatest 3-point shooters in National Basketball Association history. Hopefully, Kyle Korver's addition to the squad grants the team a much-needed scoring option as the absence of Donovan Mitchell is hurting the team badly.

Burks, 27, had averaged 8.4 points in 15 minutes a game for Utah this season.
