Fortnite To Get A Creative Sandbox Game Mode

Epic Games to undercut Valve with own PC games store

Epic Games is launching an Android game store in 2019 with 88% revenue share

In Creative, players are each given their own island where everything they make is saved. It's a bit like the Custom Server options in games like PUBG, but Fortnite's version kicks things up a notch by allowing hosts and friends to rearrange the map as they see fit.

As if Fortnite wasn't taking up enough hours of your free time, Epic is set to introduce Fortnite Creative this week and with it turn players into game designers. "We've recently worked with GOG on making classic Epic Games titles available and we're planning to bring more of them to the store in their original glory".

"Battle Pass owners will have access to a private island for the first week of Season 7", a post from Epic reads.

The game mode starts with players being dropped into a little stonehenge looking area with different rocks acting as "rifts" into other peoples' open-world sandboxes. Will this new mode be as popular as Battle Royale?
