Stop the presses everybody, there's a shocking new development in Ariana Grande's hair.
Ariana Grande has had her famous high ponytail chopped off and revealed her new shorter do. This hair change comes a week after she debuted a platinum blonde look, three days after releasing her new single "Thank, U Next", which debuted at No. 1 in the Billboard Hot 100. "This filter took my eyebrows away but i promise they're there", Grande wrote. In fact, as The Cut reports, Grande has (literally) snatched the wig off of her head in the past. There are still a lot of questions, but fans are freaking out about her cut on Twitter.
Although not groundbreaking in any sense of the word, there's one thing about it that we can say for sure: it's different than her old hair. Not to mention the swing-ability of short hair is non-existent. If anything, she's taking a moment to heal from all of that scalp pain she's probably experiencing. That means that Ariana Grande's lob is probably her real hair.
Ariana hinted that her Pete Davidson chapter was over when she reflected on post break-up life earlier this week.
Grande is rarely seen without a long, high ponytail.
She expresses that these heartbreaks were lessons learned that have made her stronger, saying, "One taught me love / One taught me patience / And one taught me pain / Now, I'm so awesome", leading into the chorus of "thank you, next / I'm so f***king grateful for my ex".
"So as annoying as it is for y'all to have to look at the same hair style all the time, it's all that works for now (AND I'm comfortable for the first time in years)", the singer said.
Davidson looked dapper during the outing, dressed in a snazzy suit paired with sneakers and his newly-dyed hair.
