Scott and DeSantis will join Trump on Halloween this Wednesday in Fort Myers before the president's second Florida rally in Pensacola on Saturday. Capitol Correspondent Cheyna Roth reports the Republican and Democratic candidates will be traveling the state as the clock ticks down to Election Day.

In addition, Trump attempted to cast the midterms as "the election of caravans, Kavanaugh, law and order and common sense" during a rally last week, a reference to a caravan of Honduran immigrants heading toward the US border seeking asylum and Democratic opposition to Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, whom Trump successfully nominated.

Will voters blame the President for the current level of anger in the country concerning hot-button political issues?

Meanwhile, Southeast Florida is where Democrats have long looked to run up big numbers, and Obama's trip to Miami is aimed at turning out voters for gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum and U.S. Sen.

The Florida Democratic Party said RSVP information for Friday's Miami rally will be available in the coming days.

"I'm proud and humbled to have President Obama, my friend and a true patriot, on the campaign trail here in Florida", Gillum said in a statement.

Stepien also argues that states in which incumbent Democratic senators have faced tough challenges are competitive "only because of Trump" and the Republican party has "no better messenger". He is set to speak outside of Hertz Arena in Fort Myers and Pensacola International Airport late Saturday.

Vice President Mike Pence was in Michigan Monday to stump for Republican candidates.

Trump in recent interviews has said that his party had snatched the momentum from the Democrats till last week, when a series of package bombs were recovered addressed to the former USA president Barack Obama, the former vice president Joe Biden, the former Secretary of state Hillary Clinton and Senator Kamala Harris among others.
