After cancelling a press conference in Mumbai on Monday, Nana Patekar on Monday scrapped allegations of rape levelled against him by Bollywood actor Tanushree Datta. The MSCW issued notices to Nana Patekar, Rakesh Sarang, Ganesh Acharya among others. Tanushree had sent a written complaint to MSCW on October 8 stating what had happened in the year 2008. "Truth won't change." Actor Tanushree Dutta had alleged last month that Patekar harassed her on the sets of "Horn Ok Pleassss". "Recently we have seen a rise in such complaints", said Vijaya Rahatkar, chairperson of women commission. She disclosed how before shooting the song, she had clearly noted that she will not endorse or do any lustful, ill-mannered or bumpy steps. Even, the ace choreographer Ganesh Acharya was expected to become part of them, but at the present, it appears like that he has ignored the decision and called off interaction meeting.
We were then taken to the police station and my statement was recorded but not as per the complaint. Tanushree makes shocking statement on her participation in Salman Khan's Show.
"After the above incident I was under tremendous shock and I suffered psychological trauma and was unable to take work and suffered huge monetary loss in crores", Dutta said in the letter.
The 67-year-old actor's lawyer has sent a legal notice to Tanushree Dutta for allegedly making false accusations against him in an incident that dates back to a decade. Clarifying to Republic TV, she said, "This is a way to discredit me that I am doing this for Bigg Boss".
