Arsenal players celebrate with Ramsey after third goal at Fulham

Manchester United are set to make a third move for Liverpool target, and Arsenal midfielder, Aaron Ramsey.

Reports in Italy suggest that Arsenal's outgoing chief executive, Ivan Gazidis plans on bringing a rather special gift to his new club.

Liverpool and Manchester United have both added Arsenal man Aaron Ramsey to their shopping lists for the January transfer window.

According to BBC Sport, a four-year agreement was in place, but before a final contract was drawn up, the North London outfit made a decision to pull out.

The London Evening Standard believe that Liverpool are the most likely candidate to land the 27-year-old as they are eager to sign a midfielder having missed out upon Lyon's Nabil Fekir during the summer. "'That's all I am concentrating on, giving my best for Arsenal".

And now the Daily Mirror claim that after seeing an enquiry rebuffed for the Wales global last summer, United will look to finally snare the long-time target.

Ramsey will leave the Emirates for free in the summer after failing to strike an agreement with Arsenal over a new contract.

"Everything has been going great with the club".

"I don't really know what's happening at Arsenal".

"So I just have to carry on playing my football and do my best for Arsenal this season and I'll leave the rest with the club now". That makes it hard to win it but we've come on leaps and bounds over the last couple of years and we're in a position now where we can really challenge.

Arsenal are in fourth spot in the Premier League table.
