The CW has released a first look photo of Ruby Rose in costume as Kate Kane a.k.a. She looks incredible with Batwoman's signature red hair!

Colleen Atwood's costume design is pretty impressive-she's won four Oscars for her work in costume design, so no surprise there.

Rose's Batwoman will first appear on the CW in the "Elseworlds" crossover event, which will include episodes of Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl. The first look photo of the actress as the iconic Batwoman debuted on October 9, and Ruby completely transforms into the role of the superhero.

The Flash returns to The CW tonight, followed by Supergirl and Arrow next Sunday and Monday respectively.

Rose will make her debut as Kane in Elseworlds, ahead of a planned solo series set to air in 2019.

This year's Arrowverse crossover is already causing a ton of excitement amongst DC fans.

We know from Arrow and Supergirl that a Gotham City exists on those two characters' Earths, so will this be the Gotham of Earth-One, Earth-Thirty-Eight, or another Earth we haven't visited before? It will also be nice to spread the heroes out more evenly across the multiverse. "Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Berlanti said: "[Ruby] is terrific in the role, and we're excited for people to see the story".
