The game publisher announced earlier today that Black Ops 4 has achieved the biggest digital launch-day sales in history.

Black Ops 4 has also reportedly set franchise records for most combined players, average hours played and total number of hours played on the current generation of consoles in its first three days.

In a post to Reddit, Treyarch says that it's "continuing to update various game settings to ensure the best experience for all players across all platforms and modes", so it sounds like the company isn't done tweaking player counts for Blackout's various playlists. "Black Ops 4 is designed as a more event-driven game, and the Featured playlists will serve to rally the community around different ways to play each week".

Finally, on PlayStation alone, Black Ops 4 set a global, new day one record on the PlayStation Store for digital full game sales.
