"BRING MOLLIE HOME" - Officials have stopped hundreds of volunteers from searching through the corn fields where missing 20-year-old Mollie Tibbetts ran.

Family members reported Tibbetts missing Thursday, Calderwood said. He said, "We're hoping that she's somewhere with a friend and she'll show up Monday or Tuesday and everything will get back to normal". "Everything's on the table, unfortunately", Poweshiek County Sheriff Thomas Kriegel told KCCI. Tibbetts had been planning to go with Jack to the wedding and she is close to the bride and groom, her mom said. She babysat for a number of Brooklyn families in high school and involved herself with the local Catholic church, Calderwood said. "We're surrounded by farm ground - corn and soy beans".
Police in southern Utah are asking the public to be on the lookout for a missing Iowa woman who they say has family connections in southern Utah. "We don't know if she disappeared out jogging, we don't know if she disappeared from her home". The only way you can search it is basically walk down every other row.
Mortvedt said Federal Bureau of Investigation and Iowa investigators are concentrating on areas around Brooklyn that Tibbetts has known to have gone to in the past. She was described as being 152 centimetres tall, 54 kilograms, with brown hair and brown eyes.
The school also linked to the following Facebook post from the Poweshiek County Emergency Management Agency, which described Tibbetts as wearing denim shorts and a red t shirt during the time of her dissappearance, adding that she was 19 years of age; in addition, the post asked people with information to contact 641 623-5679.
