'But I can't talk about anything like that [Neymar] at the moment, ' he told reporters.
The Brazilian team doctor, in France for Neymar's tests, also ended up diagnosing the knee injury of PSG and Brazil right-back Dani Alves which ruled the 35-year-old out of the World Cup. Despite his campaign having been hampered by injury, Neymar has still managed to produce some impressive displays since joining PSG, as evidenced by his 28 goals and 19 assists in 30 games across all competitions.
"I don't know if we are negotiating for Neymar", he said.
"I am sorry that you've had to come all the way out from the centre of Paris to ask that question, wondering what they'll say and if anyone will say anything", he said, reports Marca. "There will be changes for sure, but I am not thinking about that now".
Neymar was very complimentary about strike partner Kylian Mbappe, who will make his loan move to PSG from Monaco permanent in the summer.
"I need to get rid of that fear as soon as possible to arrive at the World Cup".
"It was a dream to play for Barca", he said.
"I am very pleased to have played with players like Victor [Valdes], Carles [Puyol], Andres [Iniesta] and Xavi". The move always seemed odd, as Neymar is one of the best players in the world, and he should be testing him at the highest level, even if it means he can't be the main man.
"All three of us were close - to the point of being inseparable! We were happy together and true friends".
This week, Neymar returned to Paris to continue his rehabilitation, and is not expected to play for PSG, who signed him for a record 222 million euros (now $265 million) last August from Barcelona.
