U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday warned his supporters against being "complacent" this fall, asking voters to send more Republicans to Congress while crediting Democrats with "sticking together" to oppose his agenda.

President Trump slammed Democratic leaders at a Tennessee rally Tuesday night, labeling former Gov. Phil Bredesen, a Democrat in the running to replace retiring Sen.

Speaking at a boisterous rally in Nashville, Mr. Trump criticized Democrat Phil Bredesen, a former two-term governor, as "very liberal".

"So, Philbert was recruited by Schumer to run for the Senate", Trump added. Trump said. "I never heard of this guy. If you want your country to be safe, then you must go out and get the Democrats the hell out of office because there's no common sense", Trump said. Trump chided Bredesen. "He's an absolute tool of Chuck Schumer, and of course the MS-13 lover Nancy Pelosi".

"If Bredesen were ever to get elected", Trump said, "he would do whatever Chuck and Nancy-remember the term, 'Chuck and Nancy?' They don't want the wall, they want open borders, they're more interested in taking care of criminals than they are of taking care of you-Bredesen donated a lot of money to the campaigns of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton".

Trump remains popular in Tennessee after winning the state during his presidential campaign in 2016.

"They're not human beings", he said, before leading the crowd in an "animals!" chant. "She Is going to win!", Trump said.

"What was the name?" he asked.

Corker has a mixed relationship with the president, despite being rumored as a possible Vice Presidential candidate in 2016 and golfing with the president and Tennessee football legend Peyton Manning. In July, McCain was diagnosed with a fatal brain tumor.

Earlier Tuesday, Trump raised the prospect of special counsel Robert Mueller's Russian Federation probe affecting the November elections and blamed Democrats for "Collusion". "The person that voted that way only talked repeal and replace".

Trump, meanwhile, offered an early endorsement of Blackburn in April, calling her on Twitter "a wonderful woman who has always been there when we have needed her". "I like people who weren't captured".
