Expect some clouds and the occasional pop-up shower/storm, but the odds of getting wet are very low. Otherwise we'll see partly cloudy skies with highs in the mid-80s. Mostly sunny skies have kept conditions calm and warm across the mountains.
FRIDAY - WEEKEND: Another chance for showers and storms exists Friday into Saturday.
The reason for the warmth: a large area of high pressure that will be more or less anchored along and just off the East Coast through Friday. Some wind is expected throughout the day, peeking around 15 miles per hour.
Monday's Highs: Upper 70s / Low 80s; plenty of sunshine is expected.
The sky stays clear tonight with winds becoming light after midnight as high pressure continues to build in. The flow is more southwesterly, so a few more clouds drift in and readings climb to the lower 80s.
Rain chances return next weekend but right now the chance for widespread rain and thunderstorms looks low. High temperatures will be in the middle to upper 70s Monday afternoon.
Have a great week and enjoy the warmer temperatures!
