Warning: This post contains potential spoilers for both Infinity War and Avengers 4. After Black Panther and Infinity War's billion dollar landmark this year, Marvel is set to release Ant-Man and the Wasp on July 6.
Hell, the Russo brothers did a great job at balancing the storylines of 1,734 superheroes during Infinity War, so we're confident that they can handle one little baby.
In a new interview, Gwyneth Paltrow spoke about her role in the MCU and what the future holds in store for Pepper Potts and Tony Stark. She says they have a child, not they're possibly pregnant (though even that wasn't assured in Infinity War).
"And now this decade later they're married, and they have a child".
If the conclusion to the story set in motion with Infinity War also wraps up the story of the Avengers (for now, at least), fans can rest assured that Marvel already knows what it's doing for an encore.
Whether or not this does come to fruition, we've still got a lot of Marvel films to get excited about over the coming years. Tony Stark is seen involved in wedding discussions with his fiancée Pepper Potts in the movie before Thanos drops by and ruins everything. "I'm guessing that we will try our hand at what I'll call a new franchise beyond Avengers".
Pepper makes one more "appearance" later on, in the form of a phone call when she begs Tony not to board Ebony Maw's ship leaving Earth.
After several Avenger heroes turned to dust as Thanos snapped his fingures, fans are now eagerly awaiting the release of Avengers 4 in the hope to see resurrected superheros.
I know I'd be more into seeing a timeline where the universe just moved on and dealt with the sudden disappearance of half its people than an immediate response from the remaining Avengers.
Leaks from a source previously proven to be accurate suggest game-changing events might happen in Avengers 4. The upcoming fourth Avengers film and supposedly the final installment to the franchise may also not be its last as Disney execs are considering more Avengers film in the future after Infinity War's success.
It's unclear if that tiny sub-plot was taken out of the movie in favour of including it in Avengers 4 or if the storyline was completely scrapped altogether but judging by Paltrow's interview in the official magazine, it sounds pretty legit. From Marvel's Avengers, to Iron Man 3, Captain America: Civil War, Dr Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Jungle Book, all have been successful in India.
