J&K: Gunbattle underway between security forces, terrorists in Pulwama

An army man, a policeman and a militant have been killed in the ongoing gunfight in volatile Tral area of south Kashmir's Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. "A joint team of the Army 42nd RR, CRPF and Special Operation Group of Jammu and Kashmir police intercepted the terrorists on the upper side of the Goiytengo forests".

The fighting began early Tuesday when militants attacked raiding government forces with gunfire in a forest in the southern Tral area, police said.
