The Bucks were down 99-96 with 0.5 seconds to play when Khris Middleton took an inbounds pass and drained a contested 35 foot three pointer to tie the game.

And though Antetokounmpo went 13-for-16 from the free throw line, Horford's 13-for-14 constituted his career-high in attempts and helped the former foul out.

With.5 seconds left, Milwaukee's Khris Middleton converted a game-tying three from almost half court to tie the game at 99, sending the game to overtime. The Boston Celtics are allowing 38.1 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 45 rebounds per game.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Middleton led the Bucks with 35 and 31 points respectively. The game had to be over at that point, right? John Henson was okay with seven points, six rebounds and six blocks but there were too many non-factors on the offensive end. He averaged 33.5 points this season against the Celtics, more than any player.

The game went to extra time following a wild finish in regulation that included back-to-back three-pointers in the closing seconds. As they have been doing it all season long, the Celtics had to come through in the clutch, and close it out with a great overtime performance. "Hopefully next time I can knock down the free throw and not get into that situation".

The "kids" on the squad came through on the big stage as Rozier scored eight of his 23 points in overtime, Jaylen Brown scored 20 points while playing nearly 46 minutes, and rookie Jayson Tatum scored 19 points to go with 10 rebounds in 44 minutes. The brilliant Buck had 13 rebounds to Horford's 12 and seven assists to his four while playing 39 more seconds.

The Milwaukee Bucks have another chance to steal home court advantage before going home for game three.

Boston showed grit and determination as they picked up the win in the opener by being tenacious all the way through.

"I just love playing with these guys and they just give me all the confidence in the world, but this year is probably the best one", he said. The rest of Cleveland's starters only managed 25 points, Kevin Love with 17 rebounds but only nine points.

Boston out-scored the Bucks by seven and shot 22.9 percent better from the field in the quarter to take a, 70-66, lead into the fourth.

"Oh, man, Al definitely got to hit the ice tub tonight", said Brown of his oldest teammate.

"I knew they wouldn't hang their heads", Stevens said.

The Celtics have proven they have enough shooters, and they do not need any one player to be hitting 30 points on a nightly basis for their offense to be good.

We saw the teams go over the total in Game 1.

Later in the day, after Horford had finished with his turn in the locker room media crush (he declined a request to make the trek down to the more formal interview area set up for the coaches and game's stars), Horford pondered a question.
