It runs on MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. Lava has launched its Android Go smartphone called Z50 that happens to be the first Android Go phone launched in India.

Also starring in Alcatel's refreshed smartphone line-up is the 5.5-inch Alcatel 3.

The Alcatel 1X will feature a new suite of pre-installed Google apps designed for less demand on storage, and efficient data use. Moving further, an inbuilt battery of 3,260 mAh that supports Qi wireless charging and will be the fastest charging device, that is in 30minutes 50% of the battery will be charged.

Lava Z50 will be the first smartphone to officially launch with Android Oreo (Go edition) for the Indian market. There is also a beauty mode for the front camera that can enhance the images taken on the device.

Earlier, leaks showed that the fingerprint scanner and the Nokia logo will be located on the rear panel of this upcoming device from HMD Global. "The differences between the three phones are with their displays; the Alcatel 3 and 3X will have a 5.5" and 5.7" display, respectively, although they share the same 1,440 x 720 pixels resolution.

The Alcatel 1T 7 Wi-Fi tablet also comes with an incredibly pocketable form factor and lightweight body, weighing in at 245g and measuring 9.15mm thin, making it ideal for sharing the device within the home.

The Alcatel 3X has a bigger 5.7-inch panel with the same specs, but for some reason, it has Android Nougat out of the box.

With sales slowing down in major markets (i.e Europe, USA, Australia etc) the focus is now shifting from flashy devices to developing markets and the entry-level phones that are more accessible to people in these markets.
