Although Blue Ivy lost that piece of artwork, she did land the next available piece created from deconstructed law and medical books created by Samuel Levi Jones.

During the swanky event, little Blue Ivy, who was wearing a matching gold dress like her mother, bid $17,000 on an acyclic painting of Sidney Poitier, reports Vanity Fair. A sheepish Jay-Z tried to confiscate his daughters paddle, while the auctioneer affectionately told Blue, "Baby, you don't need to bid again, you don't need to bid against yourself!"

There is only one person in this world that can spend Beyonce and Jay-Z's money without permission - and that is Blue Ivy Carter.

In her speech, she also touched on why her charitable works are less publicized than those of her peers saying, "I keep it quiet because I actually feel like I could be doing more.and I think the reason I feel weird reeciving this award from my mother tonight is I think I should be giving her an award".

The hilarious moment was captured on social media and has since gone viral.

But Blue Ivy was not going to allow the Carters to go home empty handed.

The evening's theme was "From WACO to Wakanda" and everyone's outfits reflected the incredible influence box-office hit Black Panther has had on the globe already - but it was Blue that has had our tongues wagging.
