Ronda Rousey Officially Joins WWE, Makes First Appearance at Royal Rumble

Rousey was asked about the humiliating defeats in an ESPN interview, recently.

Ronda was caught leaving Los Angeles last week (ends26Jan18) and told TMZ cameras she was off to South America.

She later described the experience to the WWE website as a "real pleasure" and a "dream since I started MMA". Forbes suggested that Rousey should take on Asuka at WrestleMania, pitting the former UFC star against the most dominant female superstar in WWE in 2018.

Rousey and Piper share the same judo coach and have become good friends. Pointing to the WrestleMania sign, her intentions were clear.

"This is my life now", Ronda said.

There have been rumors of Rousey signing with WWE since she appeared at Wrestlemania 31 a few years ago. This is not a smash-and-grab. However as soon as the show finished, the bombshell dropped on Twitter that she has actually signed up as a full-time member of the WWE women's roster. Up until those losses, she was a wrecking machine as she ran through the top contenders in the division at the time.

In the said segment, Kanako Urai, better known as Asuka, was about to choose on which belt she would vie for after winning the first-ever women's Royal Rumble match, the headliner of the said wrestling show. She adds its what she always wanted to do, not just what she had to do.

We don't yet know how Rousey will be in the ring, but stars like Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and Shayna Baszler of NXT have shown that the transition can be made with amazing results. Rousey then shook the hand of WWE executive Stephanie McMahon, who was sitting ringside. His work has been featured on Sports Illustrated, ESPN.com, FOXSports.com, CBSSports.com and many others.

Earlier, Japanese superstar Shinsuke Nakamura won the men's Royal Rumble match and opted to face current WWE Champion AJ Styles at WrestleMania in April.

"That's what everyone else seems to say", Rousey added.

UFC President Dana White said Rousey will never fight again for the company, and Rousey said she hasn't followed MMA in the past year.
