Lucas moved to Paris from Sao Paulo in the summer of 2013 and signed his current contract in 2015, but the club now appear willing to sell after he entered the last 18 months of that deal.

"I've told Lucas that he will no longer have the chance to play with PSG and that he needs to find another club", Emery told the media. "The best is that he looks for another team because he is a great player".

But reports in France claim Tottenham have got there first to Brazilian Moura.

"This transfer window is hard because it's only three-and-a-half months left of competition".
