Rob Gronkowski on the practice field, still in concussion protocol

You know Gronk's gonna play

Patriots injury report: Update on Rob Gronkowski, Tom Brady, Rex Burkhead Video

Gronkowski left the game and didn't return with a concussion.

Gronkowski is on the field for today's Patriots practice. Fortunately, there's another week for Gronk to get healthy for the Eagles.

On Saturday, the Patriots tight end would practice for the first time since suffering a concussion against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Church was fined $24,309 by the National Football League for the hit.

Two of the New England Patriots' most important players are getting healthier as they prepare to head to Minneapolis for Super Bowl week. Jaguars safety Barry Church was flagged and fined for the hit that knocked Gronkowski out of the game. The game status was listed as if the Super Bowl was being held this Sunday.

Afterwards, Church was apologetic and hoped Gronkowski is able to play in the Super Bowl. However, there have already been reports that he is expected to play in the Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles on February 4.

One final note: Tom Brady ditched the glove he wore on his injured right throwing hand for much of practice last week. According to ESPN's Stats & Information, the tight end has been listed on the injury report 50 times over his career, but none of those instances was listed as a concussion.
